    Abby, Our Calico Cat

    Abby was our beloved calico cat that we found shortly after moving to Atlanta, Georgia, in the summer of 2008. My brother found Abby as a kitten, being harassed by random kids. He scared them away and brought Abby home to us. She grew up to be the dominant cat in the household, claiming all the comfortable spots. She loved sleeping in the sun and at the foot of the bed, and her preferred human was my father, with whom she watched TV with for hours. Abby passed away earlier this year, but she lives on in our memories.
